The typical Phoenix area and well Scottsdale has changed quite a bit since then. There is now a road system that navigates through the entire light rail and Valley has gone from your planning phase to pleasure! There have been a lot of things to accomplish within the Scottsdale area including climbing, mountain cycling, climbing and backpacking. The Valley has provided award-winning golf courses and fantastic shopping spots. We've wonderful resorts and spas which have been here for years and continue to include more yearly.

The snobbery and turning a frown to my experience in-to the Desert did not diminish my drive to improve my life and keep the difficulties of L.A. behind. I will not go into the facts of why I left L.A. However the words earthquakes, fires, floods and steel slides come to mind.

The Scottsdale region has many opportunities to savor the outdoor lifestyle and yet has a sophisticated feel for activity and upscale living including cinema. Certain, most Americans consider Ny and L.A. for the raising of the blinds and seeing live entertainment on-stage. Off Broadway Theatre is large in the Valley with shows at the Gammage Auditorium at ASU and Herberger Theater. Events fill the Valleys night air at the Dodge and Celebrity Theaters as wells as the huge auditoriums at the Cricket Pavillion and the U.S. Airways Market.

Las Vegas has its different type of night life also that the Valley has its own inexpensive options! The casinos here present the chance to enjoy exactly the same gambling and nightlife minus the hassle of leaving town.

We've a number of the finest dining that can be imagined. There are standalone restaurants like Mary Elaines and Eddie Compared to to upscale restaurants like Roys and Ruths Chris Steakhouse. There is not one restaurant chain that's not entered the Valley. The Phoenix area is one of the fastest growing in the state and many of the citizens are adjustable riches. With the trend of upper income people comes the necessity for quality ser-vices.

So for all the caterwauling and invectives that were thrown at me for making L.A., I have come to and continue to take pleasure from the quality of life in Scottsdale and the More Phoenix Area.

Whatever you want, you can find it right here...in the Valley of the Sun..
